Vimy Run for Riley Cadets 62 RCACC

The Cadet program is the oldest nation-wide program for youth leadership in Canada.  There is no cost to join for parents and membership is offered to Canadian youth between the ages of 12 to 18.    The three main pillars of the Cadet program include developing Canadian Citizenship, physical fitness, and familiarity with the Canadian Armed Forces.  A core value of the programme is service to the community and Cadets regularly 'give back'  by volunteering their time to many local events.

On Saturday, April 9th 2022, VRPro held a 1km and 5km walk/run at the Hamilton Yacht Club. Members of HFC donated and participated. Over $9,000 was raised for the Riley Cadets 62 RCACC! Thank you Hamilton Fitness Community for contributing towards this grand total!

Noelle's Gift of Fitness Fundraiser

Noelle’s Gift was established in January 2013, in honour of a beautiful, dedicated caring volunteer and school teacher named Noelle Paquette. She recognized that there are many marginalized students who are victims of circumstances beyond their control and require assistance. Noelle was always aware of others in need and she believed every child deserves an equal opportunity to becoming a “Smash Hit” as she would often say to her students.

On Thursday, December 2 2021 members from Hamilton Fitness Community came together virtually to move in support of Noelle's Gift of Fitness. Together we walked 5km and sweat with cardio kickboxing! After our cool down, we read poetry, starting with a poem called "Sunflowers".

Congratulations Hamilton Fitness Community, together we raised $550 for Noelle's Gift!
